The Third Age is a compilation of themes that aims to explain some of the phenomena that occur in the stage to contribute to the management of the same in the family, where it is, from the tools that are offered, to support the adult to confront the new social situation of development with love, patience and dedication. 12 themes related to the older adult, their family and social surroundings are presented; Among the topics to be addressed, we have family attention to the adult, the physical changes in the older adult, the adult in function, loneliness, retirement, sexuality, mistreatment and abuse, loss of color, marriage, the empty nest, the adult in times of Covid-19, among others. Each of the themes briefly deals with its definitions, its positive and negative determinants, causes and consequences and the role that the family plays so that each of these processes takes place in the best possible way, providing tools that allow us to face the situations that are presented in the stage with tenderness and attention.
